    Purple Door is a Music Festival held every August. This year with a new location!
    Description
    Purple Door 2011, this year with a new location featuring free parking and easy access to the festival (now just 45 miles north of the turnpike off the Rt 72 exit). There will be Indoor bathroom facilities and a larger vendor/booth area. Also, a new stage layout, hotel and camping options minutes from the festival
    Biography
    WHAT IS PURPLE DOOR?

    Trying to put a label on this festival isn’t easy and really, will vary depending on who you ask:

    - It’s a celebration of arts and faith.
    - It’s an alternative to the mainstream music festivals.
    - It’s a heavy music festival.
    - It’s an Indie music festival.
    - It features singer/songwriters, worship artists and other styles that I don’t hear on the radio
    - It’s a place to hear speakers I can relate to.
    - It’s all about the skate park.
    - It’s an atmosphere where people can express their creativity
    - It’s an outreach to my friends who won’t come with

    Did you miss the last "Leftover Mommy ... Leftover Me" Workshop?  Read what some of the ladies had to say:

    This powerful workshop is for All ladies. Our next event is on Friday August 12, 2011.  We  will have a wonderful time exploring the things that make us tick.  This fun hands-on workshop is designed to help us:

    1. remember to give ourselves some of our best instead of what's left over

    2. look at where we are

    3. figure out how to get to where we want to be. 

    FREE seven-piece motivational tool-kit.  Come on out and see what you have in common with an hour-glass.  "Everyone in today's world can do with a seminar like this one that will make you STOP and actually think about, "what ARE you giving back to yourself'" - O.E.

    Northeast Performing Arts Group presents “West Side Story: East of the River”, a dansical. "West Side Story: East of the River!" is a DC love story with a lyrical, hip-hop swing that tells the story of how love overcomes hatred. This high-energy production portrays the story of two gangs east and west of the river, which shows conflict and uncertainties.  Come be entertained, educated and uplifted. This daniscal will touch the hearts and change minds of every soul.  The performers range from ages 3 thru 25 years of age.
