  • Description: The Young People’s Division of Allen Chapel AME Church Silver Spring invite you to join them for the first of a series of workshops entitled Pillow Talk: Pulling the Covers Off Of HIV/AIDS on Saturday, November 14 at 6pm. This series is designed for teens & young adults (ages 13-30 only) to educate and train them for the world in which we live today. Each workshop (rap session) will be facilitated by a trained professional educated on that particular topic and how to effectively teach and reach the younger generation. This first session will be facilitated by Pastor Lisa Connors, Community Health Educator/SISTA & Speaker's Bureau Coordinator at the Whitman Walker Clinic in Washington, DC.We are extending the invitation to individuals, church groups and community organizations to come out and join us for this event.
