Bowie, Maryland - On Thursday, August 6, 2015 “Camp Fit” will host its Media Day. Join us and encounter the live interaction of the Camp Fit coaches and campers. Also, meet past participants and hear their success stories. The filming of Camp Fit’s fifth season is in full bloom which began June 29th and it will broadcast in the fall of 2015 on Direct TV (NRB Network) and Roku channels which reaches over 40 million homes across the globe along with a variety of other media platforms.
Camp Fit is an interactive, holistic program and authentic television show filmed in Bowie, Maryland that school aged children attend to participate in a variety of practical, empowering activities and experiences. Each week is infused with exercise, nutrition, life skills and self-esteem building workshops. Critical measurements are documented to follow and enhance their progress. This wellness journey is not only documented in each camper’s journal, but it is also memorialized by video and edited into a life transforming reality show. In this way, Camp Fit not only impacts the tangible participants, but it leaves a positive impression upon every heart and mind connected through a variety of multi media outlets.
Camp Fit’s founder, Rob Howze, is a Nationally Recognized Empowerment Speaker, Entrepreneur, and national recording artist known as G.O.L.D. He is also the Founder and Executive Director of “World Wide Community”, which was established in 2008 for the benefit of students in elementary, middle, and high school to experience various sports, athletic and academic challenges, in a positive and motivational environment. In 2010, Rob expanded the vision with “Camp Fit”. Rob has been featured on TVOne’s “The Roland Martin Show”, “The Russ Parr Morning Show”, Praise 104.1, Fresh TV, DCTV show “Dreams”, and several radio stations across the country and online. He has been a keynote speaker for several graduations and youth programs across the country. Rob recognizes the struggles, challenges, and disappointments that the next generation faces, therefore his programs and presentations give solutions, alternatives, and offer fresh ways of thinking and problem solving. He uses all of his gifts and experiences for one purpose; that is to make a positive, long-lasting impact in the lives of our young people, forever.
