D-Day(Deliverance Day) is an outreach with focus on , but not limited to the "at-risk", "unsaved" and "unsaved" youth. Many of the youth have spiritual needs that can only be address and handled in an atmosphere that is conducive to young people being properly introduced & presented to God in settings that they are comfortable in. Traditional local body assemblies, in many cases, are not meeting the needs of today's youth because of the many challenges that are taking place in both technology and the extreme upgrade in peer pressure and the proper time is not taken to really focus on the inner spiritual needs of today's youth.D-Day's properly trained staff focuses on the issues that faces today's young people and will provide biblical application with a simplistic approach that will be comprehensible to the listener via web or in person. We will assemble once a month and will have worship, teach the Word of God with simplicity so the youth can apply the principle in their daily lives with focus on holiness and divine order, administer spiritual healing & deliverance when the window of opportunity presents and the vessel is willing; because so many of our youth suffer from the results of being hosts to the unclean stronghold spirits of rejection & abandonment not mention other unclean spirits that branch off from these strongholds.When we are not face to face with the youth we will stay connected with the youth through web with weekly podcast and videos that will have various teaching series that they can listen to anytime at the a click of a button and they can email the staff anytime with prayer requests or questions.The kickoff event for D-Day will be on January 8, 2011 which will be in a form of a celebration concert with 12 urban gospel artist/ministers at the Carolina Theatre in Durham NC. God impressed upon me to come to the people of God to help support tomorrows KINGDOM LEADERS and BUILDERS by sponsoring at least one D-Day ticket at the rate of $22.00 each. This is not much to invest in our young people so please find it in your heart to bless our youth. Carolina Theatre seats 1,000 and if we all unite and support our youth in being ministered in a way that will help them become more productive in both society and in the kingdom of God, we will see change.To sponsor young person's ticket, please go to www.carolinatheatre.org/stage/d-day.
