A Woman's Worth (AWW ) Awards is an annual award show that takes place yearly to celebrate and to honor women who have overcome adversity, using their challenges as a springboard to impact their community. Formal/Semi-Formal Attire
March is recognized as National Women's History month, where the achievements of extraordinary women are honored. We believe it is fitting to honor extraordinary women who are impacting their communities and who we believe are building legacies.
The event will feature motivational speaker, Kym Hampton, former WNBA player of the New York Liberty team. Kym has worked as a plus-sized model, and had a role in Spike Lee's film "She Hate Me”, and most recently was a featured model in Queen Latifah's Queen Collection for Cover Girl. She currently serves as the Liberty's Community Relations & Field Marketing Specialist, helping develop the brand through community relations.
We will also have live entertainment from Ally Leftridge, a comedian who has graced the stages of Caroline’s, The New York Comedy Club and the Gotham Comedy Club. Also, Simone Palmer, a gospel singer/actress who has landed lead roles in “Sister’s Act”, “Ragtime and “A Lesson Before Dying” will singing at the Awards show.
Proceeds are directed to Endless Voice Productions LLC to generate future productions and events. Our company continues to utilize various platforms throughout the year to benefit Domestic Violence. The Owner, Sheryl Hatwood is a domestic abuse survivor and she purposes to use the arts and various events to raise awareness to this cause.
