Holiday Shopping doesn't have to be hard.  Find something for everyone at Duke Ellington’s Annual Holiday Gift Bazaar & Art  Show produced by S.H.A.D.E., the School Home Association of Duke Ellington School of the Arts in Washington, DC!

This year’s Bazaar hosts fine art and artists ♦ silver & gold jewelry ♦ unique home decor ♦ natural bath and body products ♦ local food vendors ♦ books and authors – and so much more!

There will be  raffles,  a silent auction and special appearances by Duke Ellington School of the Arts award winning departments!  All proceeds will benefit the programs at Duke Ellington School of the Arts.

About Duke Ellington School of the Arts:

Borne of the collaborative efforts and energy of founders Peggy Cooper Cafritz and the late MIke Malone, the Duke Ellington School of the Arts first came to fruition in 1968 as Workshops for Careers in the Arts. The workshops quickly took off, and in 1974, the became the Duke Ellington School of the Arts at Western High School – an accredited four-year public high school combining arts and academics.  In 2000 the program grew into the Duke Ellington School of the Arts Project (DESAP).

Today, the Duke Ellington School of the Arts is home to over 500 artistically talented students from the DC metropolitan area. As a dual curriculum high-school Duke Ellington insists on excellence in both the academic and artistic programs – 96% of Duke Ellington School of the Arts seniors graduate and  go on to accredited four-year colleges, universities and/or conservatories.

Duke Ellington School of the Arts continues in its founding mission “To Nurture and inspire passion for arts and learning in talented students who might not otherwise have an opportunity to develop their artistic skills.”
