Renowned BBC News columnist Carole Spiers will be on hand to emcee the summit's Award Ceremony, which honors female leaders across the globe in areas of humanitarianism, entrepreneurship and media.
Panelists and guest speakers include First Lady of Nigeria Dame Patience Jonathan; Dr. Rita Ramalho of the World Bank; Vernice Armour, the first African American female combat pilot; Indian ambassador to Washington, Her Excellency Meera Shankar; Dr. Suaad Fahad Al-Harthi, Minister of Higher Education of Saudi Arabia; and Ms. Maimah Karmo, Founder/President of Tigerlily Foundation, a breast cancer awareness and support organization.
