Good News Jail and Prison - Ministries provide spiritually mature, equipped, and motivated Christian chaplains to serve in correctional facilities nationally and internationally. 8. Prison Fellowship
Westminster UMC has been reaching out with the gospel of Jesus Christ to incarcerated men at the Carroll County Detention Center over the past 15+ years. A group of our men join Christians of various traditions under the umbrella of "Prison Fellowship" to bring three-night seminars twice per year to those locked up and forgotten by most of our world. The Calvary Gospel Prison Ministry Team ministers to men and women at the Charles County Detention Center.
