WelcomeĀ to the Prince Georgeās County American Job Centers, a partnership withĀ local workforce development agencies, providing a full range of assistance to job seekers and businesses.Ā The American Job CentersĀ strive to provide customer-driven workforce services for all customers.
We provide a variety of employment and support resources to assistĀ job seekersĀ in achieving their employment goals. Meet with consultants to discuss career exploration, referrals to training programs, rĆ©sumĆ© preparation, and workshops to enhance job seeking skills and work readiness. Access computers with Internet, printers, photocopiers, fax machines, telephones, and a variety of job search resource materials.

The American Job Center Largo is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The Youth Career Center is open Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The American Job Center National Harbor is open Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The Building Trades Career Center is open Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The American Job Center Job and Resource Lab ā New Carrollton is open Monday and Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and Wednesday and Friday by appointment only ā call 301-459-6100.
The American Job Center Job and Resource Lab ā District Heights is open Monday through Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
An American Job Center (AJC) isĀ a free, one-stop shop in the U.S. providing integrated career and employment services for job seekers, workers, and employers, funded by the Department of Labor'sĀ Employment and Training Administration. These centers, part of theĀ Workforce Innovation and Opportunity ActĀ (WIOA) network, offer resources like job search help, resume assistance, career counseling, training information, and recruitment services for businesses, accessible in person and online.Ā
