Father, give my children a heart of courage. When they are afraid make Yourself known to them and remind them that you will never leave them nor forsake them.
Help them be strong and courageous to do the good work You would have them do. Make them capable of doing great things yet satisfied in the mundane of everyday life.
Father, I pray You would give my children a desire to do what is right. Give them the courage to walk in Your ways and do as You require so that it may go well with them and that they may prosper in all they do (1 Kings 2:2-3).
Mark my children as those who are unafraid and unashamed to do what is pleasing in Your sight. Father, You have not given them a spirit of fear and timidity, but one of power, love and self-discipline. May they stand brave in the face of adversity, bringing with them the light of love and grace. In Jesus' name. Amen
