Born in Washington, D.C., on October 1, 1965, and raised in Landover, Maryland, Towannah’s life is a testament to strength, faith, and unwavering determination. As the fifth of eight siblings, she always stood out—known for her unique hair and piercing style long before they became mainstream. GOD designed her as an original, a creator, not a copy.
Her journey has been marked by incredible challenges and miraculous victories. Towannah has faced life-and-death situations multiple times—from surgeries that nearly took her life, to battling cancer, high blood pressure, and diabetes. She has endured the heartbreak of 12 miscarriages but continues to rise with resilience and grace. Through each trial, her faith has been her anchor, guiding her through the storms.
Despite struggles with dyslexia and mental health, Towannah refuses to be defined by her difficulties. She believes she was born to stand out and to inspire others to embrace their authentic selves. Her story isn’t just about overcoming; it’s about thriving and purposefully walking in her calling.
