Capital One’s Commitment to Building Resilient Futures
Despite the significant increase of Black-owned businesses over the last several years, Black business owners have long faced a disproportionate number of challenges, many of which have only been exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic, including a lack of access to capital and digital adoption.
To address this need, we are pleased to announce Capital One Business’ grant program to help build resilient futures for Black-owned businesses, which will officially launch on March 10th 2022. In partnership with the Association for Enterprise Opportunity (AEO), this program will award $10,000 grants to 150 Black-owned businesses. In addition, all business owners can access free resources to help move their business forward through Capital One’s Business Hub, which features insights and actionable advice from real business owners.
This program builds on the Capital One Impact Initiative, a $200 million, five-year commitment to support growth in underserved communities and advance socioeconomic mobility by closing gaps in equity and opportunity.
