ASBC Foundation Scholarship Application and FAQs

Applicants Must Meet the Following Requirements:

1. Graduate from a high school in the Washington, DC metropolitan area (Washington, D.C.; Alexandria, VA; Arlington County, VA; Fairfax County, VA; Falls Church, VA; Prince William County, VA and Prince Georges County, MD; Montgomery County, MD; or Charles County, MD) by June 30, of each year. If you are a member of Alfred Street Baptist Church, you may reside in other counties in Maryland or Virginia.
2. US citizenship.
3. Admitted to and committed to attend a four-year institution.
4. Demonstrated commitment to community service.
5. Maintain a solid academic record with a 2.5 or higher Grade Point Average. SAT and/or ACT scores that are provided are a plus.
6. Exhibit financial need.

Award Amounts: Many one-year Legacy Scholarships, ranging from $1,000 to $30,000. Two $20,000 Millennium Scholarships ($5,000 annually for up to 4 years).

Application Deadline: April 18th

All students must submit the online application and ensure that all supplementary material is uploaded by April 15th
