CFA National Talent Search Congratulations to the 2011 CFA Talent Search winners The Lost Colors!  The Lost Colors was selected through an online voting process and by a panel of judges from a group of 16 talented Christian artists who had previously won regional competitions at CFA festivals from coast to coast.  Read the official press release here.  The Lost Colors will perform at Hills Alive 2012 on Saturday, July 21st in Memorial Park, Rapid City.

The Independent Gospel Artists Alliance was formed to strengthen, motivate, and empower the Independent label owner and its Artist(s), and is for those who believe in the power of networking and trade, and are willing to participate in such a process. Award Winning Gospel Artist Phillip Carter formed the Alliance as a Facebook group in November 2009. The Alliance intends to become an organization that is a leading source of education and mentorship for not only Gospel Artists, but all Christian and Inspirational Artists.

The Inaugural Independent Gospel Artists Alliance Conference took place in July 2010. The Fine Arts Summer Intensive (FASI) is a series of summer workshops for emerging artists, high school and university students and educators that builds upon the pedagogical concepts developed by York’s long history of fine arts education. FASI aims to engage eager students, professionals from the field, aspiring professionals, prospective University students, high profile artists and intellectuals, along with Fine Arts faculty, in an exciting, multi-disciplinary and cross-disciplinary on-campus laboratory of new ideas, new experiences and new work. More than innovative, FASI is a framework for pedagogical and social innovation, creating a space that crosses the boundaries between the University and the community, between artistic professions, and within and between scholarly fields in visual media and performing arts. FASI is also a vehicle for critical innovation in the creation and implementation of a sustainable business model for the delivery of enriched learning.

Give-a-ways from sponsors, vendors, autograph signings, photographers, entertainment, DJs and the best Bike and Car Clubs in the area will be represented. 100 special key chains will be provided to the first 100 car and bikes to register. Registration begins at: 9:00 am until 12:00 noon. $10.00 entry fee.  This will be a great day that will culminate with the blessings of the bikes and cars at a 3:00 pm awards show.
