Get ready, 'cause here we come!  This exhilarating show charts Motown founder Berry Gordy's incredible journey from featherweight boxer to the heavyweight music mogul who launched the careers of Diana Ross, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Smokey Robinson, Marvin Gaye and so many more.  Featuring all the classics you love, MOTOWN: THE MUSICAL tells the story behind the hits as Diana, Smokey, Berry and the whole Motown family fight against the odds to create the soundtrack that changed America.

The Worth the Wait Womens Conference is BACK for the 3rd year and we are excited to have you join us. Theme next year is : Woman, Will Thou Be Made Holy? Conference is open to all women of all ages as there will be something in it for everyone. Events include panel discussion, dynamic speakers, spoken word, gospel singer, great vendors, great food and awesome christian fellowship. Ladies, it's going to be awesome. If you live in or near Arlington, VA, you should come OR if you are ready to take a mini vacation to the DC area, then you should come. We will have a blessed time in the name of the Lord. Men Aiming Higher in collaboration with Mentoring to Manhood present a “Silence the Violence Charity Basketball Game” featuring special guest basketball players and a surprise halftime show.

With the recent upturn of violence in our community, many of our neighborhoods and schools have become fortresses of fear. We must sound the alarm, mobilize our community and take a stand to say “no to violence.”  The second Annual Silence the Violence Charity Basketball game will challenge our county to plant the seeds of peace, love and hope in our homes, cul-de-sacs, schools, community centers and parks.

On April 12, 2013 Men Aiming Higher will be playing Mentoring to Manhood in a Charity Basketball Game to raise monies for the families of the young boys that were recently killed from Suitland High School and we need your help.

General admission for the event is $5.00 and it is $2.00 for students with a valid ID. All proceeds will support your community, through mentoring programs, youth serv
