Brief introduction about yourself, ministry or business services etc.: What can I say? GENESIS is ever evolving. We get in where we fit in, but its an evangelistic ministry. Our goal is to introduce you to Christ. Whether its starting a softball game, exercise class, street ministry, or encouraging the homeless, assisting a returning citizen..... "we aint too proud to do whatever task God puts in front of us".

The Emory Fellowship is a United Methodist Church with rich tradition that we are seeking to live out in relevant ways. John Wesley and the early Methodists were particularly concerned about inviting people to experience God’s grace and to grow in their knowledge and love of God through disciplined Christian living. They placed primary emphasis on Christian living, on putting faith and love into action. We invite you to learn more about our rich theological heritage.

Joe Daniels is the teaching pastor at Emory United Methodist Church and has served in this capacity for the past 16 years. During his leadership at Emory, the Emory congregation has grown from an average of 55 people in weekly worship attendance to over 400 every Sunday. The church has been awarded the “Kim Jefferson Northeast Jurisdictional Award” for effective urban ministry representing the United Methodist Church and has been selected as one of the 25 Congregational Resource Centers churches in the “Strengthening the Black Church for the 21st Century” effort of the United Methodist Church.
