Marti Dorner-Music in Local Bookstores, Video, Events!‏

Greetings!

Another month has quickly gone by and much has happened.  The 2011 WOPFM  Women's Retreat in FL went great.  Thanks to  Ms. Tucker and all the Pastors, Ministers and new friends that welcomed me with open arms.  I will definitely see you all next year.  I enjoyed a wonderful time ministering at the gospel music event and marriage seminar at ICC in Maryland.  Thanks to Ms.Tony Smith the T & E Productions Mother's Day gala was a delight. Then back to FL celebrating my god-daughter's baby dedication. It was great spending time with family and long time friends. 

The interview with H.J. at Gospel-Spotlight.com/Star 1310 was awesome. The airtime will be announced soon so stay tuned. I'm looking forward to interviewing with The Baltimore Times on May 31st.  More and exciting news to come in June so keep in touch.

As we celebrate this Memorial Holiday remember the brave men and women who served and is currently on active duty in our prayers.  To all of our heroes "THANK YOU" for your sacrifice and dedication.

Marti's CD can now be purchased at Potomac Adventist Bookstore located at 12004 Cherry Hill Road, Silver Spring, MD 20904.  Marti will also have a CD Signing event at  John 3:16 Christian Bookstore located  7953 Annapolis Road Lanham, MD 20706 on July 23 @ 12pm and Potomac Adventist Bookstore on August 7 @ 3pm.  Come meet the artist and celebrate her album release.

Marti will soon be releasing a video for her single cut "Even Now".

"Even Now", the CD's lead single, is a reminder of the fact that God is always present. The song was penned by the artist after one of the most painful times in her life.  "I wrote 'Even Now' after the loss of my first child," explains Marti.  "Although I was going through an excruciating amount of pain, the lyrics to the song came to me."  The song's words center around giving praise to the Lord, "no matter where the winds will blow". It's a song about walking with God even through life's stormy times.
