Come check out the 2nd Annual Charity basketball game to raise the awareness of violence in the community.
Men Aiming Higher in collaboration with Mentoring to Manhood present a “Silence the Violence Charity Basketball Game” featuring special guest basketball players and a surprise halftime show.
With the recent upturn of violence in our community, many of our neighborhoods and schools have become fortresses of fear. We must sound the alarm, mobilize our community and take a stand to say “no to violence.” The second Annual Silence the Violence Charity Basketball game will challenge our county to plant the seeds of peace, love and hope in our homes, cul-de-sacs, schools, community centers and parks.
General admission for the event is $5.00 and it is $2.00 for students with a valid ID. All proceeds will support your community, through mentoring programs, youth services and outreach.
