We need you to volunteer as a Career Day Guest Speaker!!!
Whether you are a nurse, mechanic, astronaut, artist, custodian or business owner, we need you. Help us inspire our young people to greatness!! Come out and share your career with our students! The school has no budget to pay for your time, but will provide breakfast and lunch.

We need you to volunteer as a Career Day Guest Speaker! The career day is rapidly approaching and we need YOUR experiences! Whether you are a nurse, mechanic, minister, astronaut, custodian or business owner - we need you.
If your interested in providing entertainment such as singing, spoken word or even personal training activities let Montessa know so she can arrange with the music director and DJ.
They are looking for a variety of people interested in spending a day talking to our students about their careers. Many of our students are unaware of the career opportunities available to them and this is a fantastic way to provide them with first-hand knowledge of potential career paths. This is also a great way for you to get involved with Kenmoor Middle School and make an impact on the students’ future. If you are not interested but know someone who is, please give him or her the necessary contact information.
Presentations should be between 20 – 30 minutes in length. You will present to students ranging from 6th to 8th grade. The total number of students in school are 691 aging from 11 to 15 years old.
The recommended format includes: related school subjects, education/training, personal skills necessary in your field, typical day in your field, hands on activities or visuals, age appropriate presentations, etc.
