This Year’s Theme: Battling the Bulge for Good Health
An educational and invigorating packed day! You will be encouraged and empowered with the skills to have optimum health and quality of life!
Opening Speaker: Patricia Davidson, MD, FACP, a Medical Internist and Cardiologist, who practices in the Washington area will speak on "Arm Your Heart for Good Health'', Rev. Sherma Brisseau, RD LN, a Nutritionist with Kaiser Permanente will speak on “Fight the Bulge with Nutritious Food.”Ms. Karen Samara, Personal Chef will demonstrate “Recipes for Good Health.” Separate energetic exercise segments will be led by Lavonne Deshield, Certified Group Fitness Instructor and CEO of Well Fit Life and International Fitness Guru, Rev. Reginald “Regie” Thornton, CPT, CGI, CEO of Sweat-N-Go. Rev. Thornton will lead us in his famous "Seat Beat Chair Exercises.
Closing Speaker: Renee Bovelle, M.D., Ophthalmologist, President, Envision Eye and Laser Center, Glenn Dale, Maryland who will share her personal health testimony and send us out with a charge to fight the Battle of the Bulge with a winning attitude. Dr. Bovelle's topic is "Arm Your Body To Win the Battle."
